This policy explains what data RallyCoach collects, why, and what rights you have over it. It applies to everyone who uses the service.
What we collect
- Account info — your email address, display name, and (if you sign in with Google) your Google profile photo.
- Padel clips you upload — stored privately in our cloud storage bucket, accessible only to you and (if enabled) the coach you invited.
- AI analysis output — the feedback, scores, and timestamped moments generated from your clips.
- Payment metadata — plan, status, and billing period. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe; we never see them.
- Usage events — signups, uploads, and checkout events, used to understand product performance.
How your clips are processed
When you request analysis, the clip is streamed to Google's Gemini model via the Lovable AI Gateway to generate feedback. Google acts as a data processor for that request. Clips are not used to train third-party models. Analysis output is stored in your account so you can review it later.
Who we share data with
- Lovable Cloud (Supabase) — hosts our database, authentication, and storage.
- Stripe — processes payments and stores your billing details.
- Google Gemini (via Lovable AI Gateway) — performs the video analysis.
- Your coach, if you accept a coach invitation — they can view your clips and leave notes.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use it for advertising.
How long we keep data
- Clips and analyses: kept while your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of account closure.
- Billing records: kept for 7 years as required by tax law.
- Usage events: kept up to 24 months, then aggregated.
Your rights
Under UK/EU data protection law you can request access to your data, correction, deletion, or export. To exercise any of these rights, email support@rallycoach.app. You can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO).
Cookies
We use only essential cookies (for keeping you signed in and remembering your preferences). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Clips are stored in a private bucket with row-level access rules. We follow standard hardening for authentication (bcrypt-hashed passwords, optional Google sign-in, and leaked-password checks).
